- Manage a team of 6-8 BDRs
- Work with senior leadership to set appropriate metrics and achieve those by successfully coaching, training, and developing the Business Development Representatives
- Establish, implement, and monitor appropriate metrics to drive the right customer experience
- Provide regular, consistent feedback to improve individual skills and productivity
- Responsible for helping Vari find future sales talent through university and career fairs
- Own development of future Vari sales talent through hands-on coaching and objective setting to master key competencies
- Work strategically with peers in leadership to ensure proper business needs are being met
- Identify and implement process improvements to achieve sales and customer experience objectives
- Ensure consistency in sales call flow and skills as needed
- Clearly understand and articulate sales and call data activity to the appropriate internal staff and leadership
- Live monitoring and 1:1 coaching of sales reps to enhance soft skill training
- Assist on calls and strategy to obtain new customers and retain existing fans
- Minimum of 2 + years of successful experience in sales leadership in a B2B selling environment required. Inside and outside sales experience preferred.
- Experience working in a matrix environment with marketing and sales operations
- Proven track record driving YoY growth
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- All core skills and knowledge of the sales cycle of a Business Development and Account Management role
- Advanced selling & negotiation skills
- Management skills (mentoring, coaching, counseling) for sales personnel optimization
- High level of business acumen
- Salesforce HVS or Outreach CRM cadence tool experience required
