HafenCity Hamburg GmbH is a municipal company responsible for managing major urban development projects such as HafenCity, Grasbrook, Billebogen, and Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld. With HafenCity and the neighboring Grasbrook, one of the largest inner-city development areas in Europe, over 220 hectares are being transformed into innovative and pioneering urban districts with a mix of services, residential areas, education, leisure, retail, culture, and commerce. The 95-hectare development area of Billebogen is centrally located and characterized by a diverse range of uses, with a focus on creating new urban commercial and service areas for innovative production and services. Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld is being developed as an urban quarter, building on the existing science cluster of DESY and the university campus, with a mix of science-oriented public facilities, business locations, residential areas, and other services.

YOUR TASKS
  • Supporting the manager in all financial and controlling-related matters
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in collaboration with external accounting
  • Monitoring and reviewing quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Participating in monitoring and reporting for management, supervisory bodies, and authorities
  • Assisting in annual audits and acting as a contact person for auditors
