Responsibilities

  • Develop overarching breakthrough social media and content strategies and ideas to align with Sky brand and corporate partner objectives
  • Develop full channel content calendar for the season to drive proactive communication and synergies across the Integrated Marketing Team and Departments
  • Manage team's social media postings, caption writing, and responses to fan comments to drive engagement across all platforms (IG, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Create breakthrough activations and creative ideas to drive fan engagement and loyalty
  • Assist with media and marketing strategies to drive brand awareness
  • Partner with Tickets, Sponsorship, Sky Cares, Merch, In-House content team, agencies, and partners to deliver integrated programs on social
  • Create and communicate monthly reports to track, analyze, and measure results
  • Develop and execute an influencer pilot across key pillars of basketball, fashion, culture, and brand partnerships
  • Opportunity to pursue relevant projects to broaden skill set (e.g. influencer/creator programs, paid media)
  • Lead and manage others (e.g. Social Media Coordinator, Interns)

Qualifications

  • 35+ years of marketing, digital marketing, and social media experience
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Great communicator who proactively shares ideas across the organization
  • Energetic, selfstarter who must be proactive and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment, with and without direct supervision
  • Extremely collaborative, positive, with a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience in social media, content, influencer programs preferred
  • College degree in marketing, strategy, economics, communications, and/or sports marketing
  • Passionate about sports marketing, with an interest in women's sports and the WNBA
  • Strong writing, editing, design, creative, and proofreading skills
