  • The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. _ This is a full-time grant funded role._

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform fruit fly husbandry and set up genetic crosses.
  • Maintain the lab's fruit fly stock and inventory.
  • Perform functional imaging techniques as directed by the PI.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors in neuroscience, biology, or a highly related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 6 months of related experience in an academic research setting.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python programming, version control, and databases.
  • Experience with biological imaging, not necessarily in fruit flies.
