The Opportunity: Program Manager

Program Manager: A Program Manager has the responsibility for designing, coordinating and improving the internal and external programs of an organization. They have managed the portfolio projects required to deliver the contractual end item product or service. In addition, they have had responsibility for enhancing the quality of existing programs; developing and implementing strategy for the program team; developing a robust risk mitigation plan; understanding how different projects interlink and overlap; working with HR to manage staff and resources for the program; liaising with the marketing and communications team to increase awareness of program; managing budgets and funding; reporting on program performance; developing industry partnerships; and ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld.

Period of Performance: 03/06/2024 to 01/05/2025

Project Name: Hypersonic Vehicle Development

Project Description: Lead hypersonics testbed development team through vehicle design, manufacturing, and test. Manage the program cost, schedule, safety, and security performance. Responsibilities:
•Assist with the coordination and integration of payloads with hypersonic vehicle customers
•Lead the creation of proposals for later phases on hypersonic testbed vehicle production

Additional Information: Experience:
•Knowledge of, and experience with, one or more of these disciplines: aerospace program management, subcontracts and procurement, government contracts, personnel management, aircraft systems, aircraft operations, launch vehicle integration, ground systems
•Technical aerospace leadership, including working with subcontractors, government customers, and government agencies (customers and regulatory)
•Prototyping manufacturing or low-rate production
•Air-launch platforms
