Our NP has 2 years of experience as a Primary Care provider and over 10 years of experience in healthcare.

- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors
- Perform routine administrative duties for the provider(s)
- Receive patients in a timeline manner
- Take patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and weight
- Prepare patients for examination by taking a history and recording symptoms
- Assist providers during examination and treatment
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the healthcare professional
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Perform laboratory procedures (draw bloodwork, collect samples, etc.) and diagnostic testing (EKG)
- Clean and sterilize equipment
- Answer telephones and direct calls as necessary
- Assist with billing and coding as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Ability to multitask and work well in a fastpaced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Availability in month of December (clinic is closed only on Christmas and New Years)
Recommended Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- 12 years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems (athenahealth experience preferred)
- CPR certification
