Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced F&B Manager.

The F&B Manager is responsible for the management of the main dining room and bistro service areas in the manner most pleasing to members and guests, assuring a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of the dining rooms.

This position will supervise and train all dining room staff, manage within budgetary constraints and develops/implements programs to increase sales through repeat business and higher check averages.

Your leadership skills, attention to detail, and passion for providing exceptional customer service will be key to your success in this role.


Duties:


  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Hire, train and supervise FOH staff.
  • Schedule personnel and plan room setup based upon anticipated guest counts and member needs.
  • Greet arriving members and guests in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome and at ease.
  • Inspect dining room employees to ensure that they are in proper and clean uniforms at all times.
  • Provide appropriate reports concerning employee hours, schedules, pay rates, job changes, tip pools, etc.
  • Receive and handle complaints concerning food, beverages or service.
  • Serve as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff.
  • Make suggestions concerning improvements in dining room procedures and layout.
  • Assure that the dining room and other club areas are secure at the end of the business day.
  • Plan for and schedule equipment and supply requirements for the department and maintain accountability for the cost, utilization and performance of employee and equipment.
  • Maintain responsibility for continued training and proficiency of service employees.
  • Maintain control of employee uniforms, ensuring that uniforms and name badges are worn, kept in proper condition, and are readily available at all times to employees.
  • Conduct preshift meetings daily to relay information pertinent to the day's meal period activities.
  • Carefully supervise to help assure proper service; take orders when necessary.
  • Ensure that the service staff provides immediate and proper attention to the members. Rectify any complaint immediately.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper set up of dining room, meeting and banquet rooms and check maintenance of all equipment in those areas.
  • Maintain parstock on all beverage inventories.
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs.

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the food and beverage industry
  • Proficiency in using Jonas POS system or similar restaurant management software
  • Strong bartending skills with knowledge of various cocktails and drink recipes
  • Experience in cash handling procedures and ability to reconcile cash registers at the end of each shift
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests
  • Ability to effectively supervise a team of staff members

Pay:
$55, $65,000.00 per year


License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (preferred)
