    Job Details
    Responsibilities


    • Develop and implement effective compliance programs and procedures to ensure our engineering operations comply with all applicable regulations and standards (e.g., ITAR/EAR, FCC, NOAA).
    • Conduct regular internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.
    • Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies.
    • Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
    • Collaborate with corporate attorneys to manage potential compliance issues effectively.
    • Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness, promptly addressing any issues.
    • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
    • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
    • Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance within the organization.
    Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree will be considered an advantage.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of ITAR Compliance and Aerospace regulations.
    • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
    • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
    • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
    • An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data effectively.
    • High level of professionalism and integrity, handling sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with industry-specific software and platforms.
