Your Responsibilities with George, IA:

In this position, you will take on both disciplinary and technical leadership of the Center of Competence for Mechanics & Design, ensuring personnel and budget planning for the department and continuous development of its employees.
In collaboration with the CoC's technical team leaders, you will be responsible for creating functional and productionready designs for mechanical, electrooptical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and highpressure components from concept to final design.
Additionally, you will ensure the planning and coordination of external service providers with your CoC.
With your CoC, you will not only ensure structural and thermal simulation capabilities, as well as tolerance analysis and optimization, but also promote an integrated designtomanufacturing process.

Your Qualifications with George, IA:

A degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering field, supplemented by several years of professional experience, is the ideal prerequisite for this position.
You also have several years of professional experience and relevant experience in both technical and disciplinary leadership of highly qualified employees.
Additionally, you have knowledge of current CAD environments (2D and 3D) and simulation tools.
Your analytical and conceptual skills, as well as your teamoriented and solutionoriented approach, are your contributions to our joint success.
