Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Testing and measurement of AC/DC utilities
  • Testing and measurements with multimeters and OME meters
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools to determine root cause
  • Perform necessary maintenance tasks including but not limited to the repair or replacement of defective and damaged parts, adjustments, and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test, and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment
  • Review and comprehend blueprints, electrical schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalog
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Requirements / Education / Experience

  • At least 5 years of controls experience in manufacturing programming, ladder logic, motor controls
  • At least 2 years of PLC troubleshooting
  • Installation and programming of variable frequency drives including Allen Bradley, Siemens and Schneider, Lust Controls
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Technical or vocational school certification desired
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles
  • Manufacturing/industrial environment experience desired

Physical Requirements

  • Physical requirements include lifting at least 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and use of fall protection equipment
  • Able to perform job tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions
**Compensation
- $32 - $38 per hour
