We are a growing company seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist Assistant dedicated to excellent care The position we have available is Home Health COTA located in the Elkhart, Mishawaka, and South Bend area.

We are currently providing services in the home health setting, 2 outpatient clinics, and we are in 4 different assisted living facilities

Our company currently has 20 therapists but as the company is growing, so is our caseloads. Our company covers home health therapy in majority of northwest Indiana. We also have 2 outpatient clinics and we are also in 4 assisted living facilities. We provide therapy for patients in St. Joseph and Elkhart counties, in addition to the lake area. Our therapist have the privilege of designing their own schedule.

A COTA in this position will be required to report to the rehab director and coordinate with office staff on their weekly schedules.

Responsibilities include

Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the work force, both clinical and non clinical.

Able to perform and prioritize multiple functions or tasks.

Able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach freely

Able to read and interpret technical instructions related to the care of the patient.

Able to visually and auditorily observe and assess the patient.

Able to effectively deal with multiple changes

Able to travel locally from assignment to assignment.

Able to freely lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds.

Must have evidence of state licensure.

Must be 18 years of age.
