Description
Challenges for Participants in Rio Dell:
  • Mewa is full of electronics because we make our money by renting out work textiles (workwear, cleaning cloths, oil absorbent mats, etc.), picking them up for cleaning after use, and returning them spotlessly clean.
  • What do we need for this? State-of-the-art washing lines, fully automated sorting systems, sophisticated environmental and process technology - and technical experts who "master" all these operational, production and process-related systems and equipment.
  • During your technical training at MEWA, you will develop into such an expert: You will go through various departments and learn about the processes in our workshops and wastewater treatment plants.
  • You will work with materials and assemble (electro-)mechanical, electrical and electronic components into mechanical systems.
  • As you become more independent, you will be able to assemble, install, maintain and repair various systems.
  • You will also analyze errors and malfunctions in the production process, program, test and measure systems, and train users of the systems.
  • But it's not just in practice that you will learn the basics of metal processing, electrical engineering and electronics: You will also attend in-house training and, of course, vocational school.
What makes you special:
  • You have completed secondary or primary school with good results.
