Job Overview:
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations to the medical team
- Assist in patient assessments and collaborate with healthcare professionals in developing care plans
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and selfcare techniques
Skills:
- Proficient in hospital medicine practices and procedures
- Ability to triage patients effectively based on acuity levels
- Knowledge of internal medicine principles and practices
- Experience working in an ICU setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system is a plus
- Competence in infant care, including neonatal ventilator support
- Ability to lift and move patients safely when necessary
- Skill in catheter care and maintenance
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
