Description
Earn a VERY competitive salary and a few other reason you should apply to Pammy's for a Sous Chef position:
We have a 6% Kitchen Administrative Fee on all orders that is shared among all kitchen staff each pay period. Sous Chefs are included in that tip out, over and above their salary.
We pay above average, with cooks consistently earning 1.5x for overtime hours. Full time cooks will earn more than 40 hours a week. Guaranteed.
We've had the same group of veteran cooks in our kitchen since before Covid; A show of Pammy's dedication to its employees, the unity of the team, and the pride they have in the food they create.
We are closed every Sunday We believe this is a day of rest, to spend with family and friends.
People work in our kitchen because they love to make delicious food using the finest ingredients. If you like to be surrounded by cooks who truly love food and cooking, this is your place. If you simply want to earn a paycheck, please don't apply.
We have a no as*ho*e policy in our kitchen. If you like team work, constructive criticism, and are generally open minded, this is your place. If you're a dick, look elsewhere.
We cook in a kitchen with a mini French brigade at its heart. In other words, we have a poissonnier, entremetier, roast station, pasta station, and two garde mangers. If you don't know what those are, no big deal. What you should know is that it's the best way to learn your craft.
