Forward Slope, Inc.

(FSI) is seeking a User Support Specialist to provide content management, technical, and end-user support for users of the US Navy's PEO MLB Logistics IT Services (LOG IT) Integration and Infrastructure (I&I) program.

This is an onsite position located in San Diego, CA.

  • Supporting the management of the program's help desk and onboarding system by inputting and tracking tickets.
  • Managing content in various system databases.
  • Developing and updating user manuals, training materials, and system procedures.
  • Capturing and documenting user feedback.

Required qualifications:


  • Must possess a current Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields or bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of related experience, is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detailoriented, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to changing client priorities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Positive and professional demeanor.

Desired qualifications:


  • Experience with end user support, including responding to service requests, resolving technical issues, tracking, and managing change requests, and training users.
  • Experience with capturing user community feedback and resolution of questions/concerns.
  • Experience with developing and execution of test plans and testing deliverables to quality check all patches, fixes, and new releases.
  • Experience with developing and capturing user manuals, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience with IT system sustainment engineering, from identification of user issues to recording of issues in a defects database, participation in a defect triaging process, and support for testing of software releases to resolve user issues.
  • Experience with coordinating, organizing, and executing IT system demonstrations and user training.
  • Endtoend lifecycle management of technical manuals.

Salary Range:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience $ $31.25/hour
  • 4 to 5 years of experience $ $33.00/hour
