Description

Duties:


  • Perform sterilization processes on medical equipment and instruments according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Inspect and clean equipment before sterilization.
  • Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and washers.
  • Monitor and document sterilization cycles, including time, temperature, and pressure readings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sterilization activities.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper handling and storage of sterile items.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Minimum Qualification:


  • CRCST Certification
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • BLS Certification

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control practices
  • Ability to operate sterilization equipment effectively and safely
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
