    Description

    Our busy Italian bakery is looking for a Baker that will produce our line of authentic Italian cakes and pastries. Knowledge of Italian style pastries and cakes is an asset, but not required. This position is full-time, requiring work on weekdays, weekends and holidays 5-6 days per week. Wage will be based on experience.

    **Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:**

    Prepare creams for cake fillings.

    Prepare fresh whipped creams and ganache for cake decorating.

    Assemble, fill and mask cakes to be ready for decoration.

    Ensure the quality of products meets established standards.

    Experience in cake decorating with fondant is an asset but not required.

    Cleaning responsibilities and maintaining a clean work environment.

    **Requirements:**

    A minimum of 1 year experience in baking

    Be highly organized and able to multitask

    An eager and positive attitude

    Working as a team member and assisting in other areas as needed.

    Ability to work in a standing position during entire shift

    Punctual and reliable

    Our busy Italian Bakery is looking for a Line Cook to assist the chef in prepping, and cooking our various lines of production of savoury food items. The right candidate will have a great opportunity to become trained in all areas of cooking. This position is full time, including work on weekdays, weekends and holidays. 5-6 days per week. Wage will be based on experience.

    **Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:**

    Take direction from our chef in assisting with all savoury food preparation (sauces, soups, pastas, meat, pizzas, riceballs etc.)

    Assist chef in preparing catering orders.

    Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or kitchen.

    Maintain our high standards for product freshness and sanitization.

    Cleaning responsibilities and maintaining a clean work environment.

    **Requirements:**

    A minimum of 1 year experience working in a kitchen

    Be highly organized and able to multitask

    An eager and positive attitude

    Working as a team member and assisting in other areas as needed.

    Ability to work in a standing position during entire shift
