Responsibilities:


  • Manage a portfolio of awards from recruitment through submission.
  • Identify key characteristics of successful applicants for each award.
  • Establish relationships with faculty and student groups from which to recruit.
  • Work alongside the Director to codevelop a strategy to recruit and maintain a robust fellowship and awards portfolio.
  • Lead or colead review panels to make decisions regarding student nominations for endorsed awards.
  • Maintain a database of student applicants and track award submission and outcomes.
  • Maintain student and alumni profiles and experiences to create a network for fellowship applicant support and document student successes.
  • Collaborate with other College offices in planning engagement in academic events.
  • Manage data collection to report on Prescott office efforts and outcomes and assist with the department's endofsemester/term and annual reports.
  • Assist with writing nomination letters for endorsed awards and fellowships.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with collegelevel students
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and workshops to students, faculty, and staff
  • Good organization skills and the ability to multitask to meet competing deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Canvas learning management system
  • Experience with nationally competitive scholarship and fellowship advising.
