- Have a good handle on managing mid-sized projects requiring preliminary design, SD, DD, CD and CA phases of design and construction.
- Manage and maintain relationships internally including project production, delegation and collaborative communication.
- Manage and maintain excellent client relationships. Identify benchmarks for production and deadlines in order to balance design and production through each project phase.
- Exhibit high-energy, motivated, resourcefulness to enhance our creative and open culture of engineers and production staff, through efficiency, organization and communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of continual leading technology in the business.
- Support the business commitment with intensity and passion for the clientele, peers and staff.
- Experience in an electrical engineering design role including capable knowledge and skills for the design of commercial tenant finish, core and shell and retail design projects.
- Excellent teamwork and communications skills, particularly with clients, AHJ, colleagues and employees.
- Track record of organizational skills and technology leadership through selection, implementation, and integration of new and emerging technology.
- Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down, and across organizational lines.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact based decisions.
- Proven ability to utilize lighting photometrics software such as Visual.
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, BIM and Autodesk AEC Collection.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software (e.g. Word, Excel, Bluebeam, MS project, etc.).
- Manage design projects maintaining the Corey standard of excellence.
- Work with office team and project management software to determine and implement short-term production plans.
- Establish and maintains necessary communications and coordination with peers, clients, vendors, customers, and government agencies associated with or affiliated with projects.

This position will inspire a 'can-do' electrical design expert who has joined to grow with the business.
From projects like Denver International Airport (DEN), the City of Denver and Denver Public Schools, to local tenant development and new construction projects throughout Colorado, Corey is renowned for clear and concise electrical construction documents, our people and team-work.
We pride ourselves in change-order free design drawings and the ability to collaborate with architects, other engineers and any given team on a diverse range of project types.
Privately-owned, Corey is a small, tight-knit team dedicated to the development of creative thinkers, problem-solvers and collaborators to strengthen our engineering design team and serve our customer base.
Our professional staff works alongside premier clientele consisting of architects, property managers, contractors, other engineering companies, facilities managers and developers.
