Within the ES&F sub-division, the ES&F Strategic Services (ESS) team creates value by driving the strategic and enablement agenda for the business of ES&F, ensuring better horizontal alignment, consistency, and collaboration within the six departments of ES&F globally and furthering ES&F's timely vertical integration with the GR&S division and our Information Technology (IT) partners.

The Cybersecurity Portfolio Planning and Operations Lead - Enterprise Security + Fraud will be a key member of the ESS Operations team.


In this role, you will:


  • Lead and improve the annual business planning process for the ES&F portfolio of work especially the strategic investments portfolio.
  • Drive the business cases in partnership with the ES&F department heads and their leadership teams to allow for prioritization and governance of the portfolio.
  • Coordinate across ES&F departments to serve as a central point for collating and maintaining portfolio level details with accuracy.
  • Maintain portfolio level details within various systems of record (Planview, JIRA, Confluence, AgilePlace, Tasktop Viz etc.) as their usage evolves.
  • Represent the ES&F portfolio of work within the IT subdivision's portfolio planning process known as IT driven initiatives (IT DI) to ensure that the work is appropriately prioritized and executed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure an understanding of the portfolio and transparency into the actions needed for stakeholder buyin and successful execution.
  • Partner closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and IT Divisional Strategic Services (ITSS) and GR&S Divisional Strategic Services (DSS) teams to drive execution of business planning activities such as organization goals / OKRs, budgets, work portfolio identification and prioritization, scorecards etc.
  • Drive clarity of budgets, resource estimates / needs and ROI estimates in partnership with the ES&F departments and the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
  • Partner with other members of the ES&F Operations team to enable a shift to a more product, services and capability oriented portfolio over time through the adoption of Agile, lean portfolio management, product management, value stream mapping and client experience (CX) practices (as needed).

What it takes:


  • Cyber security, technical acumen including cloud literacy required
  • Experience managing technical programs; technical portfolio management and planning skills
  • Understanding of product management and operations
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation and consensus building skills
  • Ability to obtain cooperation and build trust with peers and at the executive level while skillfully navigating organizational dynamics
  • Ability to connect the dots between disparate and discrete pieces of information that may be incomplete at times
  • Ability to build lasting relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations that are informative and engaging and deliver them to various audiences including executive management
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to convert data into insights
  • Learning dexterity to build acumen rapidly when new tools are introduced
  • Analytical and financial acumen especially around capital allocation, chargebacks, ROI / NPV calculations and budget / actuals / forecast reconciliations is a plus
  • Familiarity with Planview and Atlassian product suite specifically, Planview Portfolios (Enterprise One), Planview AgilePlace (LeanKit), Planview Viz (Tasktop Viz), JIRA, Confluence is a plus
  • Formal training and certification in technical project, program and portfolio management is a plus; PMP, Six Sigma, Scrum Master, or Product Management certifications (CSPO, SaFe Agilist, SaFe Lean Portfolio Management) are a plus
  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services and functionspecific experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
