Compliance Area Manager - Cross Hill, SC

Your Responsibilities:

You will lead the "Monitoring & Screening" group for sanction monitoring, correspondent bank monitoring, and antimoney laundering transaction monitoring.
You will be responsible for implementing and complying with legal and regulatory requirements related to monitoring and screening topics, including the development of standards and systems.
You will advise business areas on complex issues related to money laundering, embargoes, and sanctionrelated matters.
You will be the primary contact for external entities such as regulatory authorities, the Federal Reserve, auditors, and internal departments within the bank.
You will develop concepts, trainings, and statements on sanction monitoring, antimoney laundering, correspondent bank monitoring, and trade finance, and ensure the delivery of MIS reporting.
You will develop and maintain internal policies and processes and define necessary actions.
You will organize and manage the daytoday operations with your team.
You will proactively lead and support the continuous improvement of existing processes and the team.

Your Profile:

Successfully completed degree in economics or law.
Several years of leadership experience in managing teams across different locations.
Extensive professional experience in the field of antimoney laundering and fraud prevention, preferably in banks, financial institutions, or auditing firms.
Indepth knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements (especially KWG, GwG, 5th EU Anti-Money Lau
