Description

As an employee in technical sales (m/f/d) at University of California-Santa Barbara, you will create technical proposals for customers. You will be available to answer questions and create parts lists for work preparation.

What can you expect?

• You are the interface between customers, operations, production, and suppliers
• You provide technical support to customers by phone, create technical proposals, and process orders
• You are responsible for selecting and sizing suitable drive components
• You prepare for production and assembly (parts list processing)
• You are responsible for creating and filing technical documents for processes
• You handle complaints and create documentation for them

What should you bring?

• You have completed training as an electromechanical engineer or electronics technician for machinery and drive technology (m/f/d) with several years of professional experience, or have completed further training as a technician in the field of electrical engineering or mechanical engineering (m/f/d)
• You have knowledge of using product configurators for drive technology
• You are proficient in using IT systems (especially MS Office and ERP systems)
