We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, Activities Specialist to join our HM Activities department.

The Activities Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating Activity Programs in accordance with current existing federal, state and local standards, as well as facility policies and procedures, to ensure that the spiritual development, emotional, physical, intellectual, recreational and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.

Records and maintains activity progress and monthly notes for each resident, in compliance with IDC master calendar; including overview of resident's activity participation and goals.

Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health.


Schedule:10:00am-6:00pm M-F and work Every Third Weekend from 8:00am-4:00pm


Education:
Must possess a high school diploma, bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or two (2) years previous experience required.
  • Should have aptitude for and some training in arts and crafts and documentation.
