    Description


    We are seeking an experienced Linux Engineer with 5+ years hands-on Linux Administration/Operations Engineering experience to join a highly successful software shop in Atlanta.

    The ideal candidate will act as a well-rounded Administrator, able to perform high level troubleshooting, configuration, and installation of a variety of tools, mostly proprietary or open source.

    The ideal candidate will also have experience with automation and configuration management.

    Responsibilities

    This position "owns" our platform in terms of admin, support, standardization, automation, etc.
    You have the ability to understand a hardware/software platform from the ground up, become a subject matter on it, and have the ability to troubleshoot, configure, and repair the platform

    You have demonstrated the ability to make relevant, specific, and high value recommendations to the design or implementation of a platform.

    This includes categories such as automation, features, security, manageability, etc
    The candidate must possess the ability to "wear many different hats", juggle multiple priorities, and thrive in an environment where you don't have a strictly defined job definition

    Skills and Requirements

    Extensive Linux administration experience. Preferred 5+ years
    Heavy Linux scripting
    Maintain and write new Ansible playbooks
    NetApp CLI scripting
    Custom software builds and testing
    Assist in design and documentation of DR re-engineer
    Bachelor's Degree preferred

    You must be local to Atlanta as this will require some in-office work, yet heavily remote. The company has great benefits, bonuses, and profit sharing among other perks.
