Estimated Pay Range:

$30-35/hour


Position Overview

Essential Functions:


  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Manage and organize case files and documents.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm's practice areas.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree

Languages: Fluent and professional Spanish and/or Portuguese speakers are preferred, but not required.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • 1-3 years in a similar position
  • Strong written and verbal communication, as well as strong research and time management skills.
  • Ability to learn and work proficiently in legal research tools and software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented with good judgement and a solutionsfocused approach to challenges.
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment while still adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Exercises independent thinking and critically analyzes problems to come up with solutions.
  • Aptitude for learning. Must be able to quickly understand new concepts and ideas and build on previous understanding.
  • Flexible, collaborative team player, with a willingness to take on a variety of diverse projects.

WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires inoffice work at the NYC office daily.
