Description

Candlewick Press, a leading publisher of books for children located in Somerville, MA seeks a Consumer Marketing Assistant.

Reporting to the VP of Consumer Marketing, this position will be involved in all areas of consumer marketing, including digital marketing, social media, and brand/ backlist marketing.

This will include support for all department members on digital and social media campaigns for all imprints, including Candlewick Press, Holiday House Books, MIT Kids, MITeen, Peachtree Press, Peachtree Teen, and Walker US.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- researching potential organizations to approach for mutually beneficial relationships that promote key brands attending bi-weekly e-book meetings with sales, keeping on top of backlist promotional opportunities
- facilitating and executing key departmental tasks, including office mailings, departmental invoicing, seasonal tracking documents, and other projects and administrative responsibilities as needed
