The Stade Wastewater Management Department is a municipal enterprise of the Hanseatic city of Stade. It operates a sewage treatment plant including 63 pumping stations, approximately 223 km of sewage pipes, and 220 km of stormwater pipes, as well as 30 stormwater retention basins and various drainage ditches. The department is divided into a technical and an administrative area.
