Individuals pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Ed
The salary is $28,510/year and it includes full NYC health benefits and 6 credits/semester tuition waiver at any CUNY institute.
Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
- Actively participates in everyday routines (arrival, dismissal, lunch/recess)
- Teaches lessons to whole class, group or oneonone based on classroom needs
- Supports head teacher
- Assists with classroom management and transitions
- Attends faculty meetings and professional development days
- Has regular meetings with head teacher
- Supervises during field trips
- Corrects and checks homework
- Instructs individual students and/or small groups
- Helps with maintenance and preparation of classroom
- Assists with bulletin boards/job chart/schedule
- Helps prepare materials needed for lessons
- Attends parent conferences if requested by head teacher
- If requested, assists with report and/or record cards
- Meets individually with assistant principal at least once a month
- Attends assistant teacher meetings
Pay:
$28,510.00 per year
