Description
Responsibilities:
- Together with a cocounselor and a high school intern, ensure the health and safety of TEAM Summer campers throughout their entire day, including arrival, departure, transitions, activities, lunch, and swimming.
- Plan fun and education activities in onehour blocks throughout the day, including the implementation of Summer Brain Gain and SMART Moves.
- Establish and enforce group norms using a positive approach to behavior management.
- Communicate with children's parents/caregivers daily to provide an update on how the child's day was spent and any achievements made.
- Serve as a positive role model to campers and ensure that they have FUN
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/First Aid Certification (JLM Boys & Girls Club can help obtain)
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Clear, effective communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change
Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary
Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (required)
Experience:
- youth development: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
