    Description

    Job Title: Loss Mitigation Specialist

    Company: Confidential

    The Loss Mitigation Specialist role involves acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and managing a portfolio of non-performing assets. The primary focus is on negotiating and implementing loss mitigation solutions to minimize foreclosure risks. Additionally, the role includes handling specialized tasks within the SPOC department, such as overseeing liquidation outcomes and interacting with high-value customers.

    Key Details:

    • Schedule: 11a-8p Monday-Thursday / 8a-5p Fridays / 1 Saturday per month 8a-12 (Overtime/No Flex Fridays)
    • Training: Monday-Friday 8a-5p CST

    Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to departmental progress by understanding and positively impacting success metrics.
    • Achieve monthly individual and team goals as well as key performance indicators.
    • Manage a portfolio of delinquent mortgage products and implement appropriate loss mitigation options.
    • Engage with customers, attorneys, and other authorized parties to educate and offer solutions for resolving delinquencies.
    • Analyze financial situations and recommend suitable loss mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct skip-tracing and review title searches to protect investor interests.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Update daily reports and accounts regularly.

    • Strong team player with good judgment.
    • Skilled in providing customer consultation and advice via phone and written correspondence.
