Learning Experience Coordinator
Dirigo Safety is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a _Learning Experience Coordinator_ (LEC).
We are an Auburn, Maine-based company that provides law enforcement training, consultation, policy development, and accreditation management services to law enforcement agencies throughout Northern New England.
Additionally, Dirigo Safety has a Risk Management Solutions division that provides a variety of safety training to non-law enforcement commercial businesses of every type.
Job Summary:
Core Responsibilities:
- Report system errors to 3rd party support, track and follow up until successful completion
- Update content to adapt to learning styles, increase usability and appeal
- Find shortfalls and develop solutions (Ex. Research plugins for advanced group leader capabilities, find ways to withdraw data about course trends in order to increase/reflect)
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with customers, users, and colleagues
- Find potential training, coordinate creation, upload, and release to clients to include the annual mandatories from MCJA
- Manage accounts/users to report accurately for billing
- Ensure allencompassing program maintenance (Learndash, Wordpress, other plugin's)
- Keep the company websites updated, adding new information as requested by coworkers
- Create and maintain an instructor program (Manual w/sign offs, updated lesson plans, agendas, and other documentation, ensure copyrights are handled, assist in creating training aids, audits, annual development training, IADLEST, backup for classroom training etc.)
- Continue learning and finding ways to keep our system and classes updated, innovative, appealing, userfriendly for agency needs, and more.
Day-to-Day Activities:
This position, which allows for flexibility in scheduling including working remotely one day per week, is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at both independent and collaborative work.
Reporting directly to the Law Enforcement Training Manager, the LEC will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and reach of our online training programs.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a team player in a fastmoving environment
- Prior experience with Learning Management Systems
- Previous law enforcement knowledge is helpful but is not necessary
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Topnotch people skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problemsolving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, Survey Monkey
- Background check
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary commensurate with knowledge, skills, abilities, & experience
