The Civi Group has partnered with one of the largest civil construction companies in Connecticut on their search for an Estimator with experience in the civil sector.

This role is pivotal for ensuring precise and competitive pricing for an upcoming Hartford DOT Project, with further projects anticipated throughout the Connecticut area.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience, plus bonus and a full benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements fully.
Participate in bids and proposals, ensuring all financial information is accurate and competitive.
Utilize estimating software to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct risk analysis to identify financial risks and opportunities within projects.

Skills & Qualification:

Preferred Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years' experience in estimating, ideally within the heavy civil and/or vertical construction sectors.
Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Pay:
$110, $140,000.00 per year
