- Meet with clients and develop marketing strategies to bring in new clients.
- Perform the actual completion of print jobs and ensure the final layouts meet the specifications of the design, operate multiple machines, package and prepare jobs for delivery.
- Make deliveries on campus using a state vehicle.
- Model the Division's mission and values and foster a positive, cohesive workplace and congeniality among co-workers.
- Understand the goals and culture of the organization, and understand how employees' work activities, teamwork, and customer service impact clients. Work with your supervisor and colleagues to understand these goals and the culture.
- Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and regulations, and Division standard operating practices and protocols.
- May need to make deliveries on campus.
- May be required to work in other departments depending on business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure business needs are met.
- High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
- Able to plan, organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and customer needs.
- Good technical knowledge of printing and copying work, along with the equipment and software used for production.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, peers and supervisors; and professionally communicate with multiple levels of employees within the University.
- Provide outstanding customer service, including the ability to remain professional and respectful under pressure when dealing with difficult situations, to team and customers.
- Excellence in completing all tasks and performance goals.
- Requires standard troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use or learn to use email.
- Related experience within a retail environment.
- Experience in Graphic Design/Graphic Arts.
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License must be maintained as a condition of employment.
