Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our team.

As a Hearing Aid Dispenser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the proper fitting and maintenance of hearing aids.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine hearing needs
• Perform hearing tests and evaluations using specialized equipment
• Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids based on individual patient requirements
• Provide counseling and education to patients on hearing aid use, care, and maintenance
• Make necessary adjustments to hearing aids to ensure optimal performance
• Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in hearing aid technology
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards

Qualifications:

• Valid Hearing Aid Dispenser license in [state]
• Strong knowledge of audiology principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proficiency in conducting pediatric assessments and fitting pediatric patients with hearing aids
• Experience with coding and billing for hearing aid services
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts to patients
• Exceptional patient service skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
