What we are looking for:
Controls Technician**The primary objective is to facilitate and lead the installation of low voltage building automation and HVAC control systems within commercial structures.
This role requires a high level of expertise, professionalism, and dedication to ensure the efficient and reliable installation of complex building automation systems in military installations.
Your contributions are critical to the success of our projects, and we always expect the highest standards of performance and safety.
Requirements:
- Installation and wiring of lowvoltage cabling, sensors, control panels and associated devices.
- Assist in performing pointtopoint checkout, troubleshooting, and commissioning of controls systems.
- Management/maintenance of installation materials
- Coordination with project management to ensure the proper execution of the installation process.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- A proven track record with a minimum of 35 years in conduit and wire installation within a commercial setting is essential.
- A minimum of 35 years in building automation and HVAC controls installation and troubleshooting within a commercial setting is essential. The ability to demonstrate a mastery of these skills is highly valued.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints is a fundamental requirement to ensure precision in the installation process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, while also providing guidance and support to other team members, and the capability to lead a team to meet schedule objectives.
- Efficiently organize and lay out jobsite activities, including material takeoffs and ordering specifications.
- Must be willing to travel as this role often necessitates engagement at various locations.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory
- A clean background check and ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
Although not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:
- Direct experience programming building automation and HVAC controls systems
- Niagara 4 Technical Certification
- OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Certification
Pay:
From $70,000.00 per year
