Job Purpose:


Key Accountabilities:


  • Support business/operation work stream team, participating in agile ceremonies during full product roadmap and prioritization
  • Actively participate in discussions and activities during all sprint cadence meetings (planning, demo, retro); product team generally operate and organize work within a 23 week format
  • Develop and mature product business cases, evaluating costs and benefits with business SMEs and Finance business partners
  • Design, develop and report value tracking mechanisms to allow business leaders to understand ongoing product value realization
  • Recognize and design practical automation opportunities for value tracking data mining, as well as dashboards for presentation
  • Maintain benefits tracking in the Nationalgrid financial tool: Enterprise Hub (EHub), or other portfolio tracking tool
  • Support the product workstream in preparing for, and participating in experiments that address product assumptions
  • During validation phase, support market analysis activities during build vs. buy decisions
  • Work with Business Strategist to become familiarized with key user personas and frictions to refine investment business case and value tracking
  • Participate in mapping exercises to identify asis and tobe process flows impacted by the product implementation
  • Design and support implementation of user training activities for analysis and value tracking reporting/dashboards

  • Experience Required**:
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills including communications.
  • Demonstrates the ability network internally and externally and to develop successful, longlasting business partnerships with others.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate to employees across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:


  • Substantial knowledge and experience with MS Excel in merging data from different sources
  • Experience designing Business Objects queries
  • Knowledge of SAP/HANA/financial tool desired
  • Knowledge of STORMS/utility Work Management System
  • 3+ years analytics and data management experiences are required
  • Understanding of core electric business processes preferred
  • Understanding of utility accounting/financial fundamentals preferred
  • Skills in presenting performance data in attractive, creative, and easily understood ways
  • Ability to work independently on long term initiatives
  • Skills in presenting data in a clear and persuasive manner
  • Able to meet deadlines and to produce meaningful results in a challenging environment
  • Requires a BA or BS degree or higher in an engineering, finance, business, computer science or technical discipline from an accredited college or university

More Information:

Salary

$123,000- $145,000 a year
