Court 16 offers tennis and pickleball programming to kids and adults at our three state-of-the-art locations: City Point in Downtown Brooklyn, Long Island City in Queens, and the Financial District in lower Manhattan.

We take a holistic approach to the sport, connecting mind and body to develop confidence and sportsmanship in our players, on and off the court.


Position Overview


The Operations Assistant is a key part of successful club operations including; client services, facility upkeep, sales, inventory management, product knowledge, and program facilitation.

They provide support to the management and coaching teams, as the team works together to provide each guest with a valuable experience.

This is a great position for someone looking to utilize their administrative and customer service experience, and grow their skills in marketing, the sports industry, operations management, sales and business development.

JOB SUMMARY:


  • Greeting clients and checking members in and updating their schedules as needed.
  • Handling incoming calls and inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and inviting atmosphere of our facility at all times.
  • Playing a pivotal role in assisting coaches and supporting the smooth functioning of daily club operations.
  • Assisting both children and adults in preparing for classes as required.
  • Organizing opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Adhering to all operational policies and procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Keeping clients informed about current and upcoming events, policy changes, and facility updates.
  • Availability to work parttime hours, including Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and weekends from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, particularly MindBody or similar scheduling systems, is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary


Pay:
From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
