Description

The Grounds Maintenance Laborer is primarily responsible for performing a variety of work tasks that allow for the timely and efficient completion of our grounds' maintenance service accounts and will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to complete specific job tasks and will report directly to the Grounds Maintenance Foreman and Supervisor.

• Aid in the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM
• Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, and perform other lawn care duties as directed by the foreman
• At times, move and install soil, mulch and plant material to assist with the construction of landscape related projects
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment as directed
• Assist foreman in other workrelated duties including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance as directed
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and uniform at all times
• Comply with all company policies and regulations
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
• Participate in snow removal operations when in season
