Job Summary:


Duties:


  • Assist in conducting field surveys using various surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and utility locating devices
  • Collect and analyze survey data using software such as Carlson, Revit, MicroStation, CAD, and ArcGIS
  • Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and maps based on survey data
  • Perform calculations to determine property boundaries, elevations, and other surveyrelated measurements
  • Assist in researching land records and legal descriptions for survey projects
  • Collaborate with surveyors and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
  • Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment as needed

Qualifications:


  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in surveying or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
  • Proficiency in using Carlson, Revit, MicroStation, CAD, ArcGIS, and other surveying software
  • Familiarity with utility locating methods and practices
  • Excellent mathematical skills with a strong understanding of geometry and trigonometry
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and legal descriptions
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
