- Design, develop, and test new products for the Automotive Service Industry.
- Achieve reliable function that satisfies project scope criteria through the selection of parts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Validate concepts through analysis and testing including design of test fixtures and special instrumentation where necessary.
- Design parts and assemblies consisting of sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, castings, plastics, sensors, and electronics.
- Collaborate with other functional groups to meet project deliverables.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be a proactive, creative self-starter, and proficient with CAD (Creo preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- 1-3 years of product or machine design experience
- Experience with sheet metal design, mechanism design, machined metal parts, material selection, and system integration.
