About us
We are a medical clinic specializing in obesity medicine.
We offer a physician supervised weight loss program that is evidence-based and includes a balance of education, appetite management and exercise activity to lose weight.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care for obesity treatment to patients under the supervision of a physician
- Conduct physical examinations and medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests
- Prescribe obesity medications and other treatments
- Educate patients about weight management and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Skills:
- Proficient in medical office procedures and documentation
- Understanding of ICD9 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Competence in medication administration, including injections
- Understanding of using EMRs
