    Job Description

    Job DescriptionFor our quick service restaurant, we are looking to add a welcoming and professional cashier to the team. As the customer's first point of contact, you will greet and serve customers as they enter the restaurant, respond to inquiries, and take orders for food and drinks. This is a busy, high-volume food service environment, and we need someone who can provide exceptional customer service. Additional duties include the cleanup of public areas, order packaging, and register tally at the end of the shift. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a willingness to be adaptable and take on a variety of tasks, are required of the ideal candidate.     $12 - $16 hourly

    Responsibilities:
    • Greet customers and assist with questions about menu and ordering
    • Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces
    • Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant database, and relay orders to the kitchen staff
    • Assure prompt delivery of all customer food and beverage orders
    • Verify the cash drawer totals at the beginning and end of each shift
    Qualifications:
    • Basic math skills are needed to accurately take payments and count change
    • Prefer some previous experience working as cashier
    • Strong cash register and point of sale system experience are desired
    • Should enjoy working with people and display strong customer service skills
    • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities
