• Manage a high volume of customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
• Negotiate rates with carriers and provide excellent customer service to clients
• Keep uptodate with the over the road freight market and understand market trends
• Develop and maintain a strong network of carriers to support customer freight needs
• Track shipments and ensure ontime delivery
• Provide customers with accurate and timely quotes
• Keep records of all transactions and maintain a database of customers and carriers
• Meet or exceed sales targets and goals

• Proven track record of successful sales experience, especially in the transportation industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex problems
• Good understanding of over the road freight market and trends
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
