As an Underwriting Clerk, you will support underwriting operations by processing activities and perform general clerical functions that help the company expand its product offering in support of assigned unit.

Our department is production based and our expectation is for our employees to complete work assignments with a high degree of accuracy and within the department's time standards.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Perform general clerical functions in support of assigned unit or department's staff, including daily mail processing using office machines, scanners, and personal computer
  • Maintain record of documents processed and controls to ensure completion
  • Manage daily assigned work

For this role you need:

  • High school diploma or GED. 02 years of experience in data entry, clerical, customer service, or insurance experience.
  • Type at least 35 words per minute.
