The Tenney School is seeking a talented and knowledgeable High School History teacher for the school year. Class to be taught is US History.Description:
- Part time: 5 hours a day from 9 to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Reports to Principal
Position Responsibilities:
- Plan for and provide one to one individualized instruction for assigned students.
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities. Observe and evaluate student's performance and development. Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (required)
- Teaching certificate (preferred)
- 2 years of teaching experience (required)
- Commitment to embrace the mission of the Tenney School
- Excellent judgement and diplomacy
- Proficiency with technology, Word, Excel and Microsoft TEAMS
- Strong interpersonal skills
Job Types:

Pay:
From $28,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 per week
