    Job Description

    Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:Pick up and load various materials. Driver will transport and off-load items to designated area using hand truck and ramp, with accompanying paperwork.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
    • Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule
    • Pick up, transport and deliver items as instructed
    • Load and unload vehicle as necessary
    • Follow DOT regulations as well as compliance with local, state, federal regulations as well company policies and procedures
    • Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
    • Participate in safety briefings as needed.
    • Ensures pre and post inspection of any machine or vehicle to be used at the start and end of each shift.
    • Turn in a maintenance report to my supervisor to get vehicle or machine repaired, checked, and able to operate for future use.
    • Ensure compliance with customer information and security requirements
    • Demonstrates internal and external customer service
    • Complete shipping papers and manifests to be turned into the supervisor

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    Frequent sitting while enroute to pick-up and drop-off locations, Constant lifting, bending, stooping, and continuous lifting and carrying of materials up to 50 pounds.
    Pay Rate = $20.00/hr
