    An innovative, growing, and trusted engineering and architectural consulting firm, which has been providing clients with award winning projects and inspired solutions since 1922.We are currently looking for experienced, vibrant, self-motivated, full time Construction Manager to join our team.

    This position is based in our Wheeling, WV office.

    Qualifications and Desired Experience

    • PE is preferred.
    • Possession of a bachelors or associate degree in civil engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or Construction.
    • Prior experience monitoring municipal infrastructure construction work on sanitary and storm sewer projects, waterlines, pump stations, roadway improvements, and related work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications.
    • Ability to read and understand blueprints, contract specifications and to interact with clients, contractors and management.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • On site monitoring of labor, materials, equipment, and construction operations
    • Written reporting of operations, measurements and calculations, quantity collations, and appurtenant efforts
    • Monitoring and reporting on extra work activities
    • Interface with clients, residents and businesses affected by the work
    • Other related activities as needed
