They are Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership & Leadership.The Regulatory Engineer will support the Compliance Manager in problem resolution between safety agencies and company. Represent company's interests by participation in Standards Development Committees, and inform appropriate internal organizations of latest regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support staff through interpretation of standards.
Facilitate resolution of variation notices at supplier's factories.
Monitor, and continuously improve product compliance process to ensure all product submittals are completed on a timely basis.
Provide compliance process and project requirement training for Project Managers, and Design Assurance Engineers.
Forecast and track agency fees and drive cost reductions.
Support of
Design Assurance
project tasks as assigned.
Ongoing investigation of latest component technology to meet goals of improved quality at less cost, and reduced time to compliance.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant fields (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) is required. MSEE is preferred
4- 7 years of experience working with safety agencies such as UL, ETL, CSA, TUV, NOM, SECAL, FDA etc. Small appliance experience is preferred
Experience with design or process engineering background in addition to compliance experience is preferred
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications recommended
