In your role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing railway power supply systems and networks through various stages of development:
- Technical support for sales, project management, and procurement
- Technical clarifications with customers, suppliers, and consortium partners both domestically and internationally
- Evaluating and selecting technical alternatives, determining technical solutions within the available product range
- As needed, requesting and negotiating subsystems and components
- Technical coordination between different departments and service providers involved in the project
- Creating project-specific documentation
- Conducting supplier and customer acceptance tests, as well as providing customer training and instruction as needed
Here's what we're looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical energy engineering
- Technical understanding (including reading mechanical and electrical drawings and plans)
- Previous experience in planning, designing, or constructing switchgear systems preferred
- Fluent in German and good knowledge of English
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and CAD is a plus
- Willingness to travel (approximately 2 days per month), valid driver's license
