Job Summary

This role is responsible for acting as an advisor to key clients and tailoring solutions to enhance customer experiences and drive strategic sales.

You will join a team of sales specialists focused on closing new logo and upsell software and solutions sales at assigned named accounts within HP's Enterprise West sales territory.

The initial focus will be on accelerating print software, services and solution sales.

The long term focus will be on selling software solutions that deliver business outcomes as part of HP's overall Print and Personal Systems services and solutions offerings.

The role works closely with the Print and Personal Systems sales teams, leveraging insights to effectively position offerings that address complex challenges.

The role will also act as a liaison between clients and internal teams for improvements as well as mentor junior team members.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with clients to understand their business needs and challenges, aligns the organization's offerings with the client's objectives, and designs tailored solutions.
  • Works with customers to develop businesses cases to define the ROI for software and solution purchases.
  • Identifies the growth path and scalability options for solutions and generates an implementation plan considering any potential challenges and/or risks.
  • Works closely with HP sales and customer success teams to provide them with insights and guidance to help position HP's offerings effectively during the sales process.
  • Handles unique and complex challenges that require creative thinking and problemsolving skills to deploy innovative solutions.
  • Positions the organization's products and services, highlighting their features, functionalities, and how they address the client's requirements.
  • Contributes to the development of sales enablement materials, including technical documentation, case studies, and training resources for the sales team.
  • Acts as a bridge between clients and the organization's internal teams, providing feedback from client interactions to help improve products, services, and overall sales strategy.
  • Conducts market research to identify new trends, customer pain points, and opportunities, helping the organization stay ahead of the competition.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop technical and consultative selling skills.

Education & Experience Recommended**- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is
$173, $267,650.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
